A filly with just one previous run on her record, Micondesa is the early market mover and puntersâ pick to win Saturdayâs Twilight Glow Stakes 2015 at Sandown Racecourse as part of the Zipping Classic Day action.

Running as the second event on the nine race program, this yearâs Twilight Glow Stakes for the three-year-old fillies is due to jump at 1:35pm (AEST) and runs as the $120,000 Listed City Of Greater Dandenong Stakes (1400m).
A final field of 14 face off including the widely-drawn and lightly-raced but highly-rated David Hayes & Tom Dabernig-trained Micondesa.
She has barrier 13 of 14 for her and hoop Damian Lane to overcome, the daughter of High Chaparral having had just the one start on October 22 when beating home Indarra by nearly two lengths over 1200m at Ballarat.
The bookies are taking no chances with the filly from Lindsay Park who just needs to turn up and have some luck from the barriers to salute at her current $5.50 price through Ladbrokes.com.au.
There are five other single figure fancies in an open Twilight Glow Stakes betting market this Melbourne Spring Racing Carnival including Queen Of Wands ($6) and Indarra ($6.50) drawn in barriers nine and seven respectively.
Prepared by a master trainer of fillies Clarry Conners, Queen Of Wands is a nicely-bred daughter of Not A Single Doubt who is Group 1 performed and shooting for her second win at career start number 10.
She has had two previous runs at the track where she enjoyed her sole win to date back in late February and comes off a fourth to Saturdayâs Group 2 Sandown Guineas favourite Donât Doubt Mamma in the Listed Lexus Hybrid Stakes (1400m) at Flemington on Melbourne Cup Day.
Indarra has Mark Zahra replacing Blake Shinn in the saddle, the Robert Smerdon-trained Stravinsky filly who comes off back-to-back seconds this campaign including in the Lexus Hybrid from November 3.
Also under $10 for the black-type win are the rails-drawn Irada ($7), last start winner Russian Empress ($8) and Change Sister ($9) who also shoots for two wins on the trot.
Caulfieldâs Mick Price prepares Iffraaj filly Irada who is third-up this time in and out to improve on her Lexus Hybrid Stakes sixth, while the Mark Kavanagh-trained daughter of Fastnet Rock Russina Empress won over 1200m at Cranbourne late last month by an easy six lengths.
Out wide in barrier 12, Barley A Moment filly Change Sister also scored a comprehensive victory last time out to break her maiden status at Ballarat on November 2 by over two lengths with apprentice hoop Patrick Moloney retaining the ride as she steps up in class on Saturday.
